Andrew Oliver is a proud lifelong resident of Ballarat, a place that has been home to many generations of his family. Growing up in the family business, Andrew’s business acumen developed from a young age. His vision and leadership were instrumental in expanding this family company into a global enterprise, which was eventually sold to a multinational group.
Beyond his rich business experience, Andrew is also a philanthropist, property developer and avid investor in Australian enterprises. The key motivation for Andrew to join the ATG Holdings team stems from his first-hand experience of the difficulty in acquiring and retaining skilled workers in country regions, which is often due to the lack of suitable infrastructure.
Providing meaningful hospitality assets will not only help to overcome this issue, but also provide employment opportunities for locals and showcase the rich histories and diverse landscapes of these areas. This is a legacy Andrew is passionate to leave from his time at ATG Holdings.
